As the Cat Lady persona emerged, Nathan realized the incredible power of his influence in raising awareness for cats in need.
Beyond the realm of entertainment, Nathan actively engages in cat advocacy works. Additionally, Nathan has played a pivotal role in founding "Nathan's Fosters," a heartwarming initiative in partnership with the Los Angeles-based nonprofit Stray Cat Alliance. This program aims to provide temporary homes and love to cats awaiting their forever families.

Kitten Rescue L.A.
Kitten Rescue was founded in the spring of 1997 and has grown to be one of the largest and most respected animal welfare groups in Los Angeles. We are a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving new homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. Kitten Rescue volunteers place over 1,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. Since we began, we have rescued and placed over 31,000 cats (and counting!) into loving homes.

Milo's Sanctuary
We have a Lifetime Care Program for the cats that cannot be re-homed. Our promise when we rescue them is to provide a safe and loving environment for the rest of their lives. All Milo’s cats receive medical care and anything else that they require to have the best quality of life we can give them for as long as we can.
