Hi, I’m Nathan Kehn,
but you might know me as
Nathan the CatLady.
I'm an actor based in Los Angeles, but more importantly, I'm a passionate animal advocate sharing my home with four incredible cats. My journey in animal rescue has allowed me to collaborate with some amazing organizations and make a real difference in the lives of animals in need.
My Rescue
Journey
Animal rescue isn't just something I support, it's part of who I am. I was honored to work with the Beagle Freedom Project to help transform an animal testing lab into a safe, welcoming sanctuary. There was 190 beagles and 90 cats rescued from unimaginable conditions. We also built two dog parks and a catio, giving these animals a safe space to enjoy the outdoors thanks to Easy Pet Fence.
That incredible experience also led to the creation of Nathan's CatLady Lounge, a space dedicated to supporting rescued animals and raising awareness for animal welfare.
Creating Safe Spaces
for Animals
Last year, with the help of my amazing sponsors, volunteers and non profit organization, I built Nathan's CatLady Oasis at Milo's Sanctuary. This special sanctuary provides a safe haven for cats who have nowhere else to go, offering them love, care, and a second chance at life.
Fostering is another cause close to my heart, which is why I partnered with Stray Cat Alliance to create Nathan's Fosters. This program supports new foster families by providing a welcome bundle worth $500 in essential cat supplies, making it easier for people to open their homes to animals in need.
*To become a Nathan’s Foster you must reside in the Los Angeles area.
COMMUNITY
IMPACT
You'll often find me traveling across the country for cat conventions, partnering with incredible brands, and doing everything I can to support animal rescue efforts. I also proudly team up with Sterling "The TrapKing" Davis on Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) projects to help manage feral cat populations humanely.
When devastating fires recently struck Los Angeles, I visited Pasadena Humane, one of the organizations at the forefront of animal rescue efforts. After speaking with their team, I learned that financial support was urgently needed to sustain the ongoing rescue operations. Thanks to the generosity of this amazing community, we launched a fundraiser and raised nearly $100,000 to support their lifesaving work. This overwhelming support proves how powerful and compassionate this community truly is.
In February, I'll be heading back to Nowata, OK, for the official opening of Nathan's CatLady Lounge at Freedom Fields with the Beagle Freedom Project. Many of you followed our journey last year when, with the help of our sponsors, we transformed an animal testing lab into a sanctuary and rescued 190 beagles and 90 cats from unimaginable conditions. We also built two dog parks and a catio, giving these animals a safe space to enjoy the outdoors. Now, we're excited to open this new Cat Cafe, where visitors can interact with adoptable cats in a cozy setting—and hopefully take home a new furry friend!

NEW PROJECTS
I'm also thrilled to announce an exciting project that's been in the works for a while. Sterling the TrapKing and I are officially launching a podcast called "The Clowder Hour." This will be a fun and candid space where we chat with people in the rescue community—from rescue organization founders to frontline animal advocates. And yes, there might be wine and bathrobes involved, because why not? Stay tuned!
